New Beginnings can help you restart, reset, and open new paths for yourself. They can be scary at first, we are all wired for comfort and sometimes going out from our comfort zone can be painful.
However, Life can be whatever you want it to be, and how you wanted to Feel.
New Beginnings are a chance to
try again with something that is not working properly, a fresh start, a reset button.
Our feet can moves us forward with inspiration, breaking any chains from them so that we can move freely again. They signify to us the contact with the Earth, and represent a zone therapy point according to the principles of reflexology. The feet act as self-tuners for the rest of the body: movement of the feet stimulate the whole system.
Everyone can benefit enormoysly from the touch of their feet. Below you will find a recipe for a home based foot oil. You can use it at your own time and space.
What you will need
a mixing bowl
1 cup of grapeseed oil
2 tablespoons of chamomile
1 tablespoon of Helichrysum
1 tablespoon of dried thistle
enough plantain leaves to wrap around your feet
In a bowl combine the oil and herbs
Rub the oil all over your feet and wrap them in the plantain leaves. Let them soak for 20 minutes, and then remove and discard the leaves.
Self care can be an everyday ritual expressed in many different ways! Try to define your own self care ritual, the one who fits you best and enjoy!
